WELCOME TO A CITY FULL OF OPPORTUNITIES AND FREEDOM!
If you're reading this, congratulations! You're one of the few lucky members of our city who finally got to fly in and explore a wild array of adventures and character development. Before you fly in, we highly recommend you take a look at the rules of our city. The rules have been specifically designed to provide as much as information we can to regulate and educate players on common and useful RP terminologies.
So you've flown into the city, you look around, you see many blips on your map, the airport is filled with other players as puzzled as you are. You're not sure where to begin your journey of exploration. Well worry not, as we're here to help you get started.
CHARACTER CREATION:
Creating your character is one of the most vital steps when you connect to the server. New players will be met with a screen wherein they will need to fill out the details of the character they wish to Roleplay as. This goes without saying, but names created must comply with the Server Rules 8 and 9. These details may not reflect on your character's appearance, however they would refer in their documents such as passports, D/L etc. Make sure to fill up every blank space within the page. Upon clicking create, you'll be prompted to choose a location to spawn in.
Upon spawning in, your character can go through the appearance menu.
CHARACTER APPEARANCE:
Now it's time to build your character's appearance. The menu allows you to customize and modify your character's looks, outfits and accessories as you please. The information on the menu is quite straightforward allowing you a seamless, yet familiar experience with creation. This is usually where a lot of new players take their time to make em look as perfect as they can be, so worry not if it takes too long for you 😉
Note: Do not click on the randomize button while creating your character as it might completely reset your progress and give you a randomized preset of clothing. This feature is clearly intended for development purposes, hence, we advice against it.
CITY COMMUTE:
Your character looks fantastic and everyone's jealous of them! Now with that in mind, you walk outside the airport only to find no mode of transportation to help you commute within the city. Well, that is until you turn back and take a look at the vehicle rental shop inside the airport and the nice little lady who you need to interact with to get a rental vehicle.
Approach the woman in the front desk and flex your third-eye on them. Wondering, what a third-eye is? A third-eye is an In-character interaction tool triggered using the LALT key + LMB(for menu) and RMB(for selection).
Once you've opened the menu, you can select the vehicle you wish to rent out based on the amount of money you have. New players are provisioned with some money on arrival to help facilitate certain minor expenses such as these.
A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER:
- When you enter the city for the first time, you are provided with a few items. One of these items is a phone. As phone's in real-life require battery charge, you'll need to charge em in-game. If you're the type that moves around the city a lot or just don't have the time to do that, we recommend buying a few battery packs(powerbanks).
You can purchase them from the Digital Den located at the Central mall located in the middle of the city.
Make sure to have 2 or 3 in your backpacks for usage.
ALAS! YOU'RE ALMOST DONE. BEFORE YOU PROCEED:
The city features a wide variety of opportunities for players who wish to part-take in numerous activities. Aside from factions, players can also own and run businesses scattered across the map. Of course, some of these have eligibility restrictions which are briefly explained in the rules for business owners.. Business listings can be found here.
If you wish to acquire any one of these businesses, feel free to open a ticket on our discord server. One of our staff members will assist you shortly with the same.
Additionally, players can own houses in the city which can be purchased from other players or from the real-estate agency. If you wish to request a new house to be created by Dynasty8, feel free to join their discord to do so.
