Business request procedure:
If you're one such person who's passionate about owning a business within our city, then this post is for you. Business ownership within our city doesn't require any monetary donations, hence, we do not condone the sale of businesses between parties using IRL money. The management provides businesses to potential owners within the city based on the following criteria:
- Number of hours spent in the city(in total)
- Behavioral history(punishments, warnings, verbals etc. from administration)
- Ideations for the particular business in question
- Reputation among players(IC characteristics)
To become the owner of a business:
- Make sure to survey the business listings page before selecting the business you wish to own for any information on the ownership status of the business.
- Upon selecting the business, you must create a ticket on the main discord server of L!VE. Mention the request for business ownership along with info on the business you wish to take ownership of.
- Administration will review your proposal and based on the criteria, they will provision you with the ownership.
- To initiate your business setup, you must open a ticket in the SA Government discord server of L!VE and request for the issue of a business license.
- Upon receiving confirmation of license acquisition from the respective department, we will proceed with your business setup.
- Item additions like foods, beverages, etc. will take at least 24 to 48 hours, or possibly even more if request traffic is high. We request you to remain patient about the same.
- Upon complete setup, you can run the business at ease while adhering to the terms of ownership below.
Terms and Conditions of Business Ownership:
Business Activity:
- Business Owners(BOs) are expected to maintain activity of their businesses and employees in the city. A minimum of 5 hours per week is necessary.
- BOs need to make sure their employees are available in-case of their absence.
- BOs only need to inform administration about long-term holidays which extend more than a week.
BO Responsibilities:
- As the owner of a business, you must make sure your business is consistently advertised. Usage of social media phone applications like Catiter, Share-It etc. would help. Additionally, you can use the #biz-promotions forum channel in the discord which is considered IC.
- You are allowed to recruit members from outside the community as long as you follow proper RP procedure to recruit them.
- Faction leaders can only run one business and their faction.
Business Outreach:
- Business owners can reach out to the community via appropriate social-media applications in-game. However, certain businesses are expected to setup discord servers for customers to request their services OOC'ly. Any requests must be propagated IC'ly via the respective channels. Tickets created on the discord server should be treated IC'ly.
Business categories that are not mandated to create discord servers:
- Restaurants
- Motels
- Weed dispensaries
- Business owners must provide administration timings on when their businesses are usually open. They must also include their IC phone number contact in-case players aren't able to reach via the normal line.
- Car dealership owners must request vehicles for sale via the respective ticket threads in the main discord.
