
🔧 FiveM Client Troubleshooting Guide
Below are common problems players may face when launching or playing on our server, along with fixes.
If an issue is not listed here, please contact staff for support.
1. FiveM Won’t Launch / Stuck on Loading
Problem: Client hangs or crashes on startup.
Solutions:

Make sure you are running the latest version of FiveM.

Delete your cache: go to FiveM Application Data → delete the cache folder (keep game folder).

Run FiveM as Administrator.

Temporarily disable antivirus/firewall and test.
2. Stuck on “Connecting to Server”
Problem: Infinite loading screen when trying to join.
Solutions:

Check your internet connection and restart your router.
-
Make sure you are not running a VPN that blocks traffic.

Clear cache (see #1).
-
If nothing works, try using WARP by Cloudflare
3. Game Crashes Randomly
Problem: FiveM or GTA V crashes mid-game.
Solutions:

Update GPU drivers (NVIDIA / AMD).
-
Verify GTA V game files in Steam/Epic.
-
Remove conflicting mods or scripts in FiveM Application Data/plugins.
-
Lower graphic settings if PC is overheating.
4. “You must be verified in the discord server to be able to play”
Problem: Your discord account isn't linked with your FiveM client
Solutions:

Make sure Discord is running before launching FiveM. You will need to be a member of our discord server to be able to enter.

Restart Discord and FiveM.

If Discord or FiveM prompts you to link your account again, make sure to follow the procedures it mentions to complete the setup.
5. “Could Not Contact Entitlement Service”
Problem: FiveM can’t verify your GTA V ownership.
Solutions:

Make sure GTA V is installed via Steam/Epic/Rockstar Launcher.

Launch GTA V once via the official launcher.
-
Link your Rockstar account properly.
6. “Game Ownership Verification Failed”
Problem: FiveM cannot find a valid GTA V license.
Solutions:

Ensure you are logged in with the correct Rockstar account.

If using Epic, link Epic Games → Rockstar properly.
-
Reinstall Social Club if it’s corrupted.
7. Black Screen After Joining Server
Problem: Stuck on black screen after connecting.
Solutions:

Delete cache.
-
Remove any custom graphics/reshade mods.
-
Wait up to 5 minutes — some servers take time to load assets.

Try joining another server to test if it’s local or server-side.
8. Voice Chat Not Working
Problem: Can’t hear or talk in game.
Solutions:

Go to FiveM Settings → Voice Chat and enable it.

Select the correct Input/Output Device.

Check Windows sound settings.
-
Restart FiveM after changing devices.
9. High Ping or Lag
Problem: Game feels slow or rubberbands.
Solutions:

Close background apps (Discord streaming, downloads, Chrome, etc).

Use a wired Ethernet connection instead of WiFi.
-
Restart router and PC.
10. “CitizenFX Has Stopped Responding”
Problem: FiveM crashes with CitizenFX error.
Solutions:

Update Windows to the latest version.

Update your GPU drivers.
-
Delete cache and relaunch.

If persistent, reinstall FiveM.
11. Infinite Rockstar Launcher Pop-Up
Problem: FiveM keeps reopening Rockstar Games Launcher.

12. FiveM Closes Immediately After Launch
Problem: FiveM instantly closes without error.
Solutions:

Check antivirus/firewall — whitelist FiveM.

Ensure CitizenFX.exe is not blocked by Windows.

Reinstall FiveM (delete FiveM Application Data completely first).

Reinstall FiveM completely (delete the whole FiveM Application Data folder).

Reinstall GTA V if ownership or file errors persist.

Keep GPU drivers + Windows updated.
